NYU English Dept. Research Group on Transnational Everyday Life Organizational Meeting:
Date: 15 Nov, 2012
Time: 5.15 – 7.15 pm
Venue: NYU English Dept Lobby (5th Floor, 19 UP)
This academic year we plan on producing audio-visual content on the theoretical approaches to Everyday Life. The videos can be in the form of a conversation with researchers who are working in this area in various disciplines (Literature, Anthropology, Sociology, Film Studies etc). The content will be archived on the NYU English Dept. Digital Commons Website as we as on the Everyday Research Group website (http://www.transnationaleverydaylife.com). If you know of any faculty member or graduate student working in this area in the western as well as non-western context and who is willing to talk about her/his research, you are most welcome to be a part of our group either as an interlocutor or as a resource person. In any case, please join us for the meeting to share your ideas.
